MAN OVERBOARD!
A search has been suspended for an elderly man who went missing on a cruise from New Zealand to Sydney.
The 84 year old was reported missing on Monday night as the "Sun Princess" was returning to Sydney from a 13 day cruise.
The ship along with search aircraft retraced it's path this morning, but the search was cancelled today, based on expert medical advice concerning his chances of surviving.
He was seen falling from a rail 25 metres above the water, and experts say given his age and the impact of the fall, it's impossible the man managed to stay alive in the rough conditions.
Passengers who were expected to board today, will now begin their holidays tomorrow, after the ship returns to Sydney, and passengers on board disembark, and the cruise liner is clean and re-supplied.
